Default 02 AC issues

It's reaching about 100 degrees daily here in Southern Indiana and it is about unbearable with how hot it is on the inside of the Disco, in the front seats its hot but I can manage but as you go farther back into the disco it gets hotter, I have 4 children and I feel horrible when I get them out of the back of the car and there covered in sweat, is there something wrong with my land rover's act unit or fans or is it just to hot and to much space to cool? Thank you

So when was the last time you had your a/c serviced? Probably low on freon and although it still won't be perfect, it will be a lot cooler.

Do you have rear air? If not they get hot in the back since without rear air you have no vents other than the two on the lower side of the center console. My 04 with no rear air also gets hot in back while the front air is refridgerator cold.

Is there any fix to this other than buying another rover

Mr. Spradlin,

If your AC is not performing, has it been checked by a shop? Not just "juiced up" with another can of refrigerant, adding to the air and refrigerant inside the leaked down system. My D1 has just front AC, it is quite warm here in south Georgia, and the AC works. 95F outside, black truck, 42F coming from center vent at speed three on the four speed fan.
