hilltopper,

will the hub only shake while only braking? (not quite mechanically sound here) its got a minor vibration in it around 50-55 mph but i assumed that was just a tire out of whack. i plan on flushing out the brakes in the next 2 weeks and testing that right front sensor while im at it as i am becoming the diy'er since ive found this forum. thanks for all the input guys!!

That sounds like a bad hub (if the tire is balanced). When the tire is in the air give it a tug if you feel any play (will be very slight) then the hub is bad. If you remove the abs sensor and see how it works you will see how a bad hub can cause the 3 amigos.

Ok, dumb question since I dont know then Ill bury this topic. The guy I bought it from just had the abs pump replaced right before I purchased it. Would you have to flush the brake fluid out and replace when you replace the pump or not? I only ask so that I dont do this if it has already been done. Thanks for the input guys!!

Not necessarily and probably not in the sense of a complete flush. Should it have been, yes but that doesn't really mean anything. The rule I live by is if I have not personally done it either A) it hasn't been done OR B) it hasn't been done right.

My .02 would be to go ahead and do it. That way you know that it was done and when. Don't worry about having to activate the bleed sequence through SLABS, you can do it the old fashioned way and be fine.
