@abran - sent you a PM.

Do the RR cooler lines mate to the block of the 4.6 in the D2?

I'll gladly guinea pig this, as I feel that I can vouch for how it does in the heat.

It's currently 119F in my back yard.

Got my new oil cooler in today, and could not wait till the engine had cooled down enough to install it. I pulled the top half of shroud and grill(was not necessary), loosened the radiator bracket and pushed the radiator back towards the engine and snaked it into position, then put everything back into place. I also got the lines in also, but they did not come with the needed o-rings(for engine end), so am going to look in my parts bin to see if they may have come with the front cover gasket set or find some new ones locally. Darn, I really wanted to finish this up.

If they don't have one, grab a flex-a-lite kit from amazon. I use it on my F-350 and it works WONDERS on trans temp.

So, after messing around, I have found this:
Amazon.com: 10-Row 10 An Engine Oil Cooler+Silver M20 Sandwich Cooler Adapter Plate+Hose: Automotive Amazon.com: 10-Row 10 An Engine Oil Cooler+Silver M20 Sandwich Cooler Adapter Plate+Hose: Automotive

And I think, for ease, looks, and convenience, I'm going to go with it.

Truck is down anyway for fixing Transfer Case Gear Oil Chili, which is apparently what cooks up in your transfer case after 133K miles. Looks like Optimus Prime dropped a load in it...

I'll report back on what my ultra-gauge says for temps.

@charlie_v - you're quite welcome. for you folks in the sticks, amazon is a wonderful tool.

Its for the Rover.

The ford already has coolers out the wazoo.

TBD on placement, but yes, its very pretty. I'll wait till the kit shows up and see what will fit where.

Now back to the fight with the T-case.....sigh....
