04 d2 chirping while moving
Whack it with big hammer, using a block of wood in between. Hit yoke solidly and sharply, it will eventually move.
Couple other thoughts, since you've not greased the shaft before, by the sounds of it...you may want to check your fluid levels, especially transfer case and transmission. Read up on transmission fluid check/change, vehicle has to be running to check fluid. If you check it while it's not running, you'll lose about 3 - 4 quarts of fluid so beware of that. Transfer case is pretty straight forward, plug is located just to the side or partially behind parking brake drum assembly. Yeah, it can be a pain getting a tool in there to loosen it, but it's doable.

Good news, and thank you for finishing up discussion with results. This topic may come in handy for the next guy or gal with similar noise.
Now, don't forget that transfer case fluid check...like 99% on the Dll owners out there. I've owner four Dll's...and all four were empty or close to it.
