04 Disco OM617 Diesel Swap (Harvey)

The OM617.912 was 79 - 88 HP
The OM617.950 was turbo with 110 HP
The OM617.951 and .952 variants increased to 125 HP, 180 ft/pounds of torque.
Compared to the 187 HP for a 4 liter Disco engine, you'll certainly notice it. But once you reach cruise speed you can run all afternoon wide open. The Benz is designed to run wide open on the Autobahn all day long. Stop light grand prix, not so good.

I'm curious: That Mercedes is an '82 and you're using the engine in an '04 Land Rover? Will this cause emissions issues, or is there an easy way to bring a 30 year old diesel engine up to 2004 spec?
On a side note, I could see one major benefit of the swap if you convert it to a biodiesel / grease car. Practically free fuel!
