And you are 100% positive you don't have it? I guess it's true... You can't believe everything you read on the internet.

I'm pretty sure I don't. Am I correct that it's on the front, top of the TC....towards the center of the vehicle?

Refer to page one of this post. TriarII shows the locking nipple on the right photo. Try to use a smart phone,as suggested, to get a glimpse on the top of the T case, or feel around. I found that if you don't know what you are looking for, the feel around technique is not so great.

Its worth it to make 100% sure you don't have it before giving up.

My linkage was not completely stuck. I was able to engage the hi/low range, just could not shift to the left to engage the diff lock. Are you able to engage the hi/low aspect of the linkage? or is the entire shifter stuck so you could not move it at all? As for the lubricant I WD-40. I first removed the shifter **** and the boot, then carefully pulled up the foam piece then applied lubricant in that hole that you took a picture of. I did not remove the plate or drill out the rivets. Then i went underneath the truck and applied more WD-40 all around the nipple and saturated as much of the linkage as I could reach using the stray. Solved my issue, however one member on here suggested against using WD-40 on this particular application. I dont know, some people say do this and other people say dont do that.....

Good luck and cheers
