Just curious, how long did it take you to rebuild the injectors? In my case, I went for a total replacement, as I don't have space to do major wrenching on the car. Don't ask me about what I paid, I am sure it was way more than it would have taken to replace the O-rings myself.

Once I had the injectors out, I'd say it was about 20 minutes to rebuild them. I didn't time it, but it didn't take very long. I was cautious on the first one, getting the basket out, but zipped right through the rest once I knew the method worked. I don't think it took any more space or wrenching to do the rebuild. Still had to take the intake manifold off. I had a little 2 foot by 3 foot table next to the car that I did the rebuild work on. That same table had my tools on it for all the work I did. I needed a little bit more space to knock the throttle body off to clean it and replace that gasket, but I just put a piece of cardboard down on the garage floor for that work.

Been fighting these codes for a bit....finally broke down and bought the re-built bosch ones on Ebay....went to replace them, now I'm just going to do the head gaskets...
I bought the re-build kit first, but before I re-bulit them, I just bought a set off of Ebay, and will re-build the other ones to have a spare set..
This thread is what made me finally make an account on this forum.....no more lurking lol

Why would you replace the headgaskets for lean codes? I don't get it.

Pulled left side rocker cover and saw residual coolant....seeping...
Given the history of things I have found wrong on this engine so far, I figured to just do the head gasket service.....

Honestly this is prob my problem as I have did everything else so far I can think of and honestly it just keeps getting worse to be honest. Replaced o2 and still reading to front are bad which is possible but the ones I finally got off (had to take blow torch to one) I just don’t get why it would run more like crap then as opposed to when the rusted up seized ones were in. And now I feel a vibration coming from underneath when I first reverse out the driveway it will continue and either go away or I just don’t notice after some time driving. And the other day it kept sputtering if went above 40mph but yeah I think injector job just gonna be something I can’t do
