Hey everyone new to the Land Rover forum!!!!! I have a Land Rover Discovery SD2 I just had the heads redone and resurfaced. When I went to put a new battery in it, it set off the security system. I just paid $1,710 for the heads to be resurfaced and gaskets replaced so, when I went to pick it up it wouldn't start. So, you can imagine my frustration, it's been in the shop for 5 months now. I just want to know if there's anything I can do to avoid having it hauled to a dealer thats an hour away from where I am now, that charges $125 an hour just to look at it. I do NOT have a key fob for it either, I just have one key and I've tried the EKA code several times. I'm not sure if I'm doing it wrong or if I even have the right code. I just want my rover back I haven't tried the universal 1515 code yet, but I plan on doing that this weekend. Any and all information will be tried and greatly appreciated I'm desperate.
