Default 2000 Disco II nothing happening at ignition

Turn the key and nothing but a clicking noise from the fuse box under the steering wheel, but i can jump my land rover off, it will start and run fine. 12.6 volts to battery, so battery is good. Headlights won't turn on either, and nothing is working when key is turned to accessory. Any clue to what is wrong with it?
thanks

If you can jump it with no issues, the problem is either your battery connections are poor or your battery is weak. A weak battery can still read full voltage but not have the capacity to provide the needed amperage to run your starter.
