Default 2001 Disco Steering Gearbox HP Hose Leak

Does anyone know if you can replace the high pressure hose to the steering box without taking out the radiator and half the front end? Rave not any help here. My hose is ok, just leaking on top of gearbox. New O-rings didn't help.

I thought I got mine out without removing it, but after thinking about it I may have only done the other two lines. I wish I could remember. I swear I did it, but everyone I know has told me the rad would have to come out.

It looks like it would be a tough thing to do. I have a hard time getting in there in general. I'm pretty sure my line is the same one and I might have to replace it before winter.

Default PAS High Pressure Hose Replacement - No More Leaks!

I bit the bullet and decided to replace the PAS high pressure hose since new O rings would not stop the ps gearbox leak. As I followed the RAVE procedure, I decide before I disconnect the radiator and oil cooler hoses, that I would try to lift up the radiator assembly enough to get under it to replace the hose. It worked! A little rough on the hands and arms, but it went quickly and no more leaks with the new hose. I guess the flange on the old hose must have been cracked.
