Hi All - I'm new to the forum, but thought I'd ask the experts. I've found one with 80k miles on it, but have some reservations. Read on this forum that they're going to have some issues and was wondering what you guys think. I fly a lot and don't drive a ton. This will probably be my primary driver for the next year...maybe two. Thoughts on the issues with the front drive shaft and how to check it out before I buy it and anything else that I should be aware of? Just looking for some general knowledge about what to expect. I don't mind the bad gas mileage - does it HAVE to have premium gas or is that just suggested by most? Anything will help!

Consider an inspection by an indy mechanic. Certainly worth the money. Overheating, low oil pressure, front propshaft, 3 Amigos, the list goes on. As for premium, it is best. Do people run lesser gas? Yes. Won't run as well, won't get best mpg, but we also don't have melted psiton reports.

As for minimal driving, DFW is larger than the island of Manhattan. So you'll put some miles on.
