When was it last tuned along with new 8 mm silicone wires, what octane gas are you running?
Are you sure the fault code number is a P1000, can't find it listed on any of the normal Rover code sheets.

Yeah, I looked it up and P1000 is apparently a default for when the codes are cleared but the self diagnostic checks have not completely cycled.

Regardless, it's likely the upstream (closest to engine) as the downstream likely is fine at your mileage.

Drove down my local Pep Boys store. And had my engine diagnosed. And that's the code they gave me ( P 1000 O2 sensor 10). I think the guy told me upstream. However I had my 3 years old and 7 years old with me @ the the time and it was a bit chaotic.

But I think Ur right about upstream.

Thanks

Gas Shell 92 or 89 octane mostly 92. wires and serpentine about 20k miles ago. Engine runs great no stalling a little vib on idling but it runs rich. Car is in very good working condition everything works no majors. 60k tune up its past due.

CODE P1000 o2 sensor 10 that's the only 1 I've got

Thanks

P1000 is not a valid landrover code

Just buy a code scanner or an Ultra Gauge.

If you need codes figured out - this site may help

http://enginecodemaster.com

Most scanners decode the code for you. But the above site will tell if a code is valid or not.
Most of the Rover specific codes are in that site.
