well there must be something slightly wrong with mine then

i could gauruntee you know, no matter how hard i pushed it it would never get to 100 on a level road. never mind cruise at that speed

any ideas maybe ?

Don't you have a diesel? Most of the replies here seem to be from Americans - and since only one engine is available here we don't usually mention the one we have.

Good point Aquaholic. The 2.5 TD would not reach the top speeds of 4.0 V8 gas model.

ah well then there is my problem. yes its a 2.5 TD5. i should have thought about the american market before posting. oh well at least i know for next time, thanks anyway
