thanks for the info as buying the extended warrenty has already paid off. Last i talked to the dealer doing the work they were tearing the engine down to the main bearing to see if they find a issue with any or the rods. If they do not then they will be replacing the engine. Thats what i know as of now and hope to hear more this week. I am hoping for a replacment as my vin does fall within the range (which i found out after i purchased) but it may all work out in the end.

I got the phone call today stating that my engine is trashed and will be a total replacement. So im happy with the replacement but I also woujld like my trucj back as iv had it for a month and its been at the dealer for half that time.... o well.....
