Default 2003 knock sensor bank 1 low frequency

Quick question. I have a bank 1 low frequency knock sensor code. I took a peak under there and it's covered in oil. I ordered a new one today. Would this also cause it to run rough? Anything else I should check while I'm t it other than the wires?
No other codes. 2003 disco 160,000 miles engine may have been replaced at some point?
Thanks

Default Update

I changed out the knock sensor today and everything seems to be ok now. When I went to remove the nut to take off the knock sensor the whole stud came out of the block. I believe it was loose to begin with. Probably my problem. Everything is ok now and is running a lot better.
