2004 4.6 conversion?
I think the general consensus is that the '04 was the worst of the bunch because by that time the machining they were using was getting worn out so tolerances were all over the place. The '03-'04 had more sleeve problems and any of the 4.0s or p38 range rover 4.6s. If you aren't doing sleeves, the best bet would be a p38 block or a 4.0 out of a '99-'02. Someone please correct me if the bit about a p38 block working is wrong, but I'm pretty sure it will drop in fine.
