2004 blinking M&S P0600
Thanks to others sharing here I pulled the code P0600 and made my checklist. I tested fuses 12,21,24,25 all good. Battery voltage good, alternator good then got under the seat and found the root cause but I need help.
As I made sure the TCM had good connection I saw that some liquid got under there and corroded the plug. Take a look at the pics of my TCM and harness plug disconnected, 3 pins from the TCM are rusted and broken in the harness connector. I would like to know if I should try to get a junkyard harness and cut and splice or is the connector a replaceable part. If the connector is replaceable will I need to get a wiring diagram to make sense of it or is the inside of that connector color coded.
For the hell of it I called Rover and they can't wait to see me in this damm economy, they want $3900, over the phone quote without looking at the truck.

I would be tempted to find a parts vehicle and take the whole harness out. If that was too much trouble, I would get the multi plug and cut it off with a good amount of wire to spare (you can always trim the wire down later). I would then splice wiring one at a time, color to color. It looks like you might need to grab the TCU from the parts truck as well.
