Low voltage at 02 could be caused by water intrusion also. Blow the connectors out with compressed air or terminal cleaner or spray them down with WD40.

Default 12-12 Update

Working on a few odds and ends this evening. O2 sensor was giving low voltage. I pulled it to inspect it and it looks like it is toast. Also checked the transfer case. Was down about 1/2 quart so I topped it off. Oil was down 1 1/2 quarts. I guess my oil leak is a lot worse than I thought. I also pulled the interior handles and am working on refinishing them with some colorbond.

Also cleaned up the headlamps with some Novus and coated them with cerakote. Lastly it has been a month since paint so I decided to start the paint correction. Clayed, polished and coated the front end with ceramic coating. Paint turned out real nice!

Not sure. Right now it smells like glue and paint. I think this is turning into an obsession that will never be complete. 😂

Default 12-18 Uodate

Working on a punch list of a bunch of odds and ends. Primary goal is to finish the clay, polish and ceramic coating of the paint. Just completed the polish on the roof. The Chemicals Guys one step polish is the bomb!

Up next:
  • Replace front O2 sensor
  • Blue Devil transfer case leak
  • Complete refinish of interior handles
  • Reseal sunroofs

Default 12/19 Update

Knocked a couple things off the list. Replaced the O2 sensor. Hopefully that will fix the misfires otherwise I’ll have to go deeper. Also Flexsealed the alpine windows, added the Blue Devil to the transfer case, and added a second coat of ceramic.

Still working on the handles. Too many pits in them so I had to sand them back down and add some Bondo glaze to fill the holes. Hopefully finish them up tomorrow.

Waiting on a head gasket (hopefully today) to finish this up and break in the cam.
