Making some progress. Bumper is back on and new reverse lights are mocked up. Headliner is installed and I cleaned out the inside really well from all the body work dust. Also installed the blinker lights and reinstalled the rear door panel. I installed some Noico in the rear door just to help with noise dampening.
Still got a lot to do but it’s small stuff so I should be able to knock most of it out this weekend. Need to clean out the iacv, maf and hot soak the intake. Also need to install a rear O2 sensor, install the front diff armor and cerakote the trim. Lastly I need to touch up the wheels with some duplicolor. $200 worth of plastic trim Mocked up new lights which double as reverse and fog lights
Tomorrow I get the recovered headliner professionally installed so that will be a big step in the right direction. The Noico I added to the ceiling is much better than the reflectix I had there before. Helps with sound and temps. More to come!
I need to refurbish my headliner soon. Still undecided what kind of damping material to put in. What do you think of 3M Thinsulate Acoustic/Thermal Insulation SM400L? The van builders use it a lot. https://multimedia.3m.com/mws/media/...insulation.pdf

I have no experience with it but I’m sure it’s good. 3M makes some really great products. That said, I like the Noico because it comes in precut panels and is very easy to install. Plus it’s a lot cheaper than 3M.
There's black tinted LED fender blinkers available on the market for really cheap (china) that would go well with your color scheme. I have them on mine and they look and work good. I also installed LED license plate lights that replace the whole assembly (not just bulb) in rear door handle that are pretty cool.
Mostly worked on aesthetics today. Cerakoted some of the trim, cleaned the front bumper and super cleaned the windshield. I did get a chance to clean out the IAC valve, seafoam the intake and replaced the O2 sensor. Going to be nice to drive it into work tomorrow morning for the first time in a month!
Finally got the rover back from paint. Looks great although the gloss black on the roof really shows a lot of imperfections. I am really happy I did away with all the black trim. Looks a lot better. Tonight I install the nerf bars and sun roofs so I can take it to the headliner shop tomorrow morning. Got a lot of detailing and clean up to do plus the rear bumper reinstall. Plenty to keep me busy all weekend long.
Got a few more things to tweak this weekend. Need to touch up the front bumper and sliders and spray with clear coat. Driveshaft is making noise between 56-65 mph so I got a new one on order from GBR. He gave me a pretty good discount because of the snafu on the differentials.

such a great driveshaft. Mine leaves me with no worries. It got rid of my 75mph vibration and then my lower speed vibrations went away with new tires. Good stuff.
