#3 misfire

#3 misfire
Hey guys, I've been away for a while but I'm back with what I hope is just a small problem. On my way to work today my radiator return hose came off the top of the radiator. By the time I could get to a safe stopping place I was showing 215 on the ultra gauge. At one point I saw 222 briefly but then it dropped back to 215. After work I fixed the line, refilled the reservoir and started my drive home. About 7 miles into my 10 mile commute I felt it idling rough at a light. Then my Service Engine Soon light flashed and then came on stedy. My ultra was showing intake temps above 100 even though the outside temp was 64. When I got home I read the code and it was for a mis fire in the #3 cylinder. Should I assume I busted my head gasket? What's with the high intake temps? Thanks for the advise.

If a radiator hose came off and you got antifreeze all over the wires, then a misfire on #3 could happen.
Once it is all dried off and the hose is clamped well, clear the code and happy days.
The hose may have come off due to either not clamped well or from excess pressure from a head gasket problem lurking.
If your coolant is going down, that could spell problems. Keep a watch on it.
