Thanks for the memories. I ll never post on this forum again due to dishonest dealings by the administration. Some companies will be looked out for here regardless of their track record. I would not trust any company the administration suggests to used. There is behind closed doors double dealing from the administration.

Must have been something nasty. You called his subs crap and he took it in stride so he's pretty thick skinned!

By the way, I have a pair of the Kickers in my rear door and they work quite nicely. I have an SE7 and use the rear seats all the time so I had to put the subs in the factory enclosure. Eventually I will build it into a sealed enclosure but as it is, The sound is pretty good.

Hello 04duxlr

So you replaced the speakers in the rear door with subwoofers? Or did you connect the original rear speaker wires to an amplifier which feed the subwoofers you installed? Thanks

I purchased my vehicle with an aftermarket head unit in it already. I actually replaced all four 6 1/2 inch drivers in the doors with Pioneers and the subs in the back door with a pair of Kickers. The door speakers are fed off of the factory amp and the rear subs are now powered by an aftermarket amp installed underthe passenger seat in place of the cd changer. I connected the subwoofer amp up to the subwoofer preamp output on my head unit.

It was nasty. I absolutely agree with his decision to leave 100%. Forums should be an open place to share information, not be stifled by Admin because of their conflict of interest.

He had a bad experience with a rover parts seller that is advertised by one of the admins and his post got deleted. This is a free country, and there are rules on a forum. He did not break any rules, the admin did.

Hmmm.... This wouldn't have anything to do with a certain aftermarket retailer form a state with fantastic powder in the winter and lots of Mormons, would it?

And this is the exact thing we want to hear about here on the forums....some back-yard after market parts guys that has no business saying they are a business...

you can say all you want about AB but when i order something it shows up at my door the next day or following....no BS...happy to pay for no BS service...
