Driveshaft on my wife discovery broke off from the U-joints due to the lack of grease.Everyone, make sure you grease those 3zert fittings often.

My rear windows does not roll down. Checkall the fuses and everythingappears to begood. Just wondering what else could be the problem. Also wiper fluid would not come out anywhere. The tank is full. Any help is greatly appreciated.

The rear windows have a ECM behind the glove box that
the may need to be fixed,, do a search on that there is
a post that goes step by step on the fix.

On the washer pumps try unplugging a pump and jump it
to see if it works,, sometimes the screens plug up or the
jets do.

Hope that the driveshaft did not take anything else out.

 

Is your washer pump working? Open the hood and have your wife try to wash the windows and then listen for the pump.
As for the window, does it not work with the front switch, the back switch or both?

 

new owner - 98 discovery - filled my gas tank, drove 30 miles and fuel tank light indicator came on, w/gas indicatorhand reflecting empty - cause? Not trying to be a jerk, but you might want to start a nre thread.
I have no idea why your low fuel light came on after you filled the gas tank. What does your gauge read?
Rovers leak end of story. How much is up to you. You can fix it or just keep an eye on the oil level and live with it. Power wash the engine and see exactly where and how bad it is leaking.
You want the RAVE CD. You can find it on e-bay, I got mine free but the guy who gave them out for free stopped doing it.

 

Spike555 - found a tech manual CD - thanks. Leaking - got it. Fuel Gauge reads empty and "get gas" light stays on w/a full tank of gas - bad gauge on the dash? or gauge in the tank? any fuses and/or sensors bad? Like I said - I'm new to all of this, but a quick study. thanks - DC
