Default 99 dii disc brake swap/ match with 99-02 rr p38?

HEllo folks,

i just know that here are lots of experts here regarding this:

I own a very clean DII ( late 99'), that needs fron brake rotors.
I had started ordering stuff thru Ebay, and bought brand-new vented, cross-drilled EBC rotors and pads for the rear.

I JUST also bought a 00' RR HSE 4.6. This one has JUST had all-new brakes and rotors installed about 500 miles ago (plain stock ones).

As I have decided to sell the DII, I thought I would put the nearly new stock rotors off the RR into the DII, and install the EBC new rotors in the RR.
According to the application crossreference I got from Monte Rovers, it says they are the same. Is this correct?

Also, even though I originally had bought the EBC rotors for the rear of the DII, the box says " for Front OR rear"; does this mean they are the same?
Thus, that being the case, could I install those new EBCs in the front of my 00' RR...??

Tech advice would be greatly appreciated.

If the EBC are vented, they are only for the front.

But how come the box said "Front or rear"..?
They are actually "dimpled", no actually drilled all the way through?

What about the compatibility? would I be able to use the new EBCs on the rear of my 00' RR HSE?

Also, would I be able to take the front brake rotors off the 00' RR, and bolt them to the front of the 99' DII.......?

I would go to a website that shows part numbers for both vehicles, such as http://www.roverparts.com/ and compare front rotors and rear rotors for both vehicles. If the website shows the same part number for both vehicles, then they should theoretically fit. If the part numbers differ, then they most likely will not.

Default Dii / rr brake rotor interchangeability

Thanks guys.
Well, according to the website, the rear EBC cross-drilled/ slotted rotors are the very same part number for both the 99-04 DII and the 95-02 RR P38.
I suppose I should be happy; I paid $118 for the pair of EBC rear rotors, shipping incl. They sell them there for $231+ 40 shipping!
Same on the EBC pads; I paid $33 (off Ebay, shipp incl) and in the website they sell for over $50 with shipping.

Now that part of the equation is GTG. I will put these new EBCs in the rear of my P38; assuming that the website is correct, there should be no problem swapping the "old" ( 500 miles old) brake off my P38 into my 99' DII, correct?
My DII has about 40% left in the rear, but the fronts are warped.

I had also originally bought a set of cross-drilled EBCs for the front of the DII (off Ebay) for $123. Theoretically, I should be able to put them in the P38 and take the RR rotors and put them in the DII, right?

It seems like a lot of the brake parts are a 99-04 DII / 95-02 P38 compatible..
