Default abs fix

Hi all,

most of the original is gone, but a couple of guys put up some decent info.
figured it would be helpful to put the good stuff here and not have to look through the dead links

Thanks for such a good job. I have a doubt, the lights disappear but the traction control is still in operation and it helps the descent?

does bypassing the shuttle valve make the ABS system in operative?

You're not bypassing the shuttle valve. You're renewing a source of ground which enables the switches inside the shuttle valve to function correctly. ABS is not in any way compromised.

No, as ahab said this fix restores full ABS operation. It bypasses a faulty printed circuit board in the ABS module; it does not bypass the ABS system.

Be sure to do Option B. There is no need to disconnect any of the brake lines. Please ask if you have any more questions.
