Default Sorry didn’t update

i replaced the hub and it didn’t seem to fix it. Code would reappear within about 200 feet, so I drove with the amigos on for about a month and on a whim cleared them and they haven’t been on since. I don’t understand why it took a month of driving to decide it liked the new hub and sensor, but I am happy it’s gone. Now if I could fix the slow leak on the transmission all would be grand.

After replacing my ball joints I had a bad sensor code on my right front. I purchased a new sensor but when I went to install it the existing plug/socket in the engine bay disintegrated. I tried inserting the connectors as best I could to the damaged socket it but still had the code issue. I then trimmed the wires (skinny little buggers) and wired it up, but still the code persisted.

I broke down and bought a complete hub. I got one of the cheap ones on E-bay as noted above. I installed it and cut off the connector, hard wiring it using crimp connectors and heat shrink tube. This fixed the problem. I have a scanner that can read/reset the codes which was invaluable in tracking down and resolving the issue.
