I saw the great photo set and instructions for what looks like a straightforward job. I just have one question.

The posted shuttle replacement was done on a 2000 D2 as I recall. Can this be done on a 98 D1? Is it all the same? is the part the same because Atlantic British only shows a shuttle kit for a D2!

DI and DII's are not the same beast.

 

Thanks for the advice but I would still like to know if there is a shuttle kit for the D1 ABS modulator? The modulators on both D1 and D2 look very similar in design and both WABCO.....

 

I don't know of any D1 shuttle valve kits they just don't seem to have the issues the DII's have with the ABS. Anyhow you can get a decent used WABCO DI modulator for a couple hundred or people just pull the fuse.
