Default ABS / TC noise

I have a noise that sounds like a snare drum comming from the drivers side of the engine compartment. It occurs when I hit a certin type of bump in the road and when the TC kicks in so I beleve it is associated with the ABS/TC unit.

Do I have a problem or is this just normal?

Thanks!

When you go over a bump our TC/ABS may engage.

Mine clicks and whirrs but is not as loud as a snare. I would say that if its working, its fine though.

Hadn't thought about it but, "snare drum" is an apt description, though certainly not loud. I consider it an auditory reminder everything is working as it should.

It took me awhile to come up with an accurate description and then I saw/heard a snare drum on the tele and that was it.
