Default AC Blower winning -> me losing

2004 Disco (front air only)

Trying to get AC blower working.
  • Getting variable voltage at blower depending on fan setting
  • Replaced air blower.
  • Replaced interior fuse panel (with a used one). Ended up opening mine up, looked great with no corrosion so I re-installed it.
  • Checked around blower for burnt wiring or messed up connectors and everything looks nice.

What else can I check? I assume the fan motor relay works fine since I'm getting voltage there. I have read stories of having to install a few different fuse panels.

Was getting ready to wire around the fuse block. Tried to disconnect the 2 terminal connector beside the fan and it wouldn't come out. Turns out it was all melted and nasty looking in there. It looked fine from the outside so I didn't pay it any attention.

Moral of the story - unplug that connector to really check it.
