Default Added DRL to my '01 D2

I bought a DRL kit on ebay for approx $15-$20 that has wiring and a small box inline. I cut the hot lead behind each of the small "city lights" in the head light housing of '99-'02 model D2's and used the wiring kit to wire the hot leads using the wiring assembly in the kit with the inline box with a positive & negative wire coming off the other end of the box going to the matching battery post. That's it. The little inline box which I presume is a relay and/or diode allows the power to flow to the lights when the battery voltage is > 13.5 volts which is when the alternator is charging, i.e. when the engine is running.
