Perhaps you swapped left and right heads? If not milled, they would want to stay with original side.

Head warped more than you thought from inspection. Did you perform the flatness inspection for 0.002 inch?

I'm expecting I'll have something like this as well, not being critical, just trying to jog your memory.

Well new gaskets an bolts at on the way, heads are going to the machine shop tomorrow and I'll be using that copper spray plus hylomar this time.

Plus I'll b using that angle guage tool to ensure I'm making 90 degree turns instead of eyeballing it.
