Default Another guauge option : HUD

I been fighting with my cooling system and wanted more info. I was looking at OBD gauges and found this on Amazon:

Amazon.com : iRULU New A8 5.5 Amazon.com : iRULU New A8 5.5" Car HUD Head Up Display with OBD2 Interface Plug & Play KM/h MPH Speeding Warning : Car Electronics

Works great, looks super slick, easy to install, and cost $50. In very, very direct sunlight is a little tricky to read, but otherwise its great. The frantic beeping at a temperature you set is golden.

2 downsides: While it will show fahrenheit, the bar graph and alarm is in Celcius. I just run it in celcius - I'm looking at the trending anyway.

Other downside is the fuel efficiency info at the top doesnt have any value - I guess it isn't supported by our trucks, or I havent figured it out yet.

Just wanted to share-

I was reading it does not support mpg but consumption such as litres per hour. Still, a zero reading might not be getting a comparable value.

I'm considering the targeting....it's a slippery slope.

Oh, and I was completely wrong- I can get the fuel consumption info, I just had a setting wrong. That being said, it's going to take awhile before I can really understand how I should feel about my fuel comsumption being 3.6 liters per 100 kiometer. May as well be cubits per bushell....

That's a bit over 65MPG.

Unless you're rolling down a hill in neutral, I'm going to go ahead and call shenanigans.
