Your junkyard's prices don't leave any meat on tha bone for you to resell, especially after shipping.
You're better off buying a whole truck for ~$500 than reselling junkyard parts. Once you sell a few big items and make your initial investment back the rest is gravy. You're currently doing all the work(removing parts) for a fraction of the reward.
Yes, I have been considering buying a parts car for a while now. The issue is that I live in an apartment currently and do not have a garage like I use to when I go to school (currently interning in a different city). Once I come back, I am definitely doing it.

Yes $33 (plus admission fee, and gas to get there ~40mi away) is very steep. That's why I rarely buy headlights; I recently bought one for a Jag X-type (decent shape) and it's worth between $120-140. In such case it's justified.

I had $2000 in sales in both of my eBay stores last month after investing $900. After fees and shipping, ~$800 of clean profit. That's not a lot but if I wasn't doing this for my hobby I would be playing video games LOL
