Default Corroded wheel...any hope?

One of my wheels is quite corroded. Tried using some Eagle One on it...it helped but not much. Is there anything, besides a sander[:-], that will remove the corrosion?

Sand dunes. Mine never shined so well as after a day in the sand.

Wait, it's an aluminum wheel, isn't it? Also, they're coated in aluminum paint and clearcoat I believe. At least mine are. If so, you'll ruin the finish if you get on it with anything abrasive. It looks likeit's either brake dust, or something like steel wool or grinding particles that rusted. I'd get some different wheel cleanerfor brake dust removal, then rub it with asoft brush that will get into the corners, or your fingers.

X2. Unless you plan on re-painting your rims, don't use sand papre. THat corrosion did not come form the wheel.

I used Mothers MAg and Aluminum polish lightly on the inside of my rims with one of those small foam ***** on a drill. Got the caked on brake dust off like magic. Then I used wheel wax as a topper after rinsing out the foam ball.

Those little ***** on a shft are amazing, and you can buy repalcement heads for them. I think they are like $20 at wal-mart. They have bigger one's, but the small one's work great....

Went and bought one along with the Mother's polish. I was able to spend an hour on it and have gotten 70% of it off. Hope to get the other 30% off tommorrow.
