Default Anyone else get low-key anxious before starting the engine after a major repair?

About to head out and start up the 2002 after doing a head gasket job and overall rather large overhaul. It's been about two months of just a few hours here, few hours there, waiting on tools, waiting on parts, etc. Excited but nervous and wondering if anyone else shares this angst haha.

I used to be. Still get that way a little bit if I am, for example, doing a cam break in. You'll find that it fades a lot with experience.

Or high key anxious after starting an engine with a new flat tappet cam in it. Or a new engine you built in general.

Cam break in is the worst though. It better run or you risk ruining your cam because you did something silly like leave a wire harness on the exhaust or something.
