Default Auto door locks not working

Hello!
New owner of a 2000 Discovery 2 and working through a bunch of needed maintenance and fixes.

The one issue that has me stumped is the auto door locking/unlocking. I have a working FOB and it is communicating with the truck since it does arm the alarm and flashes the parking lights. I hear the relay clicking in the fuse box and I also hear an attempt to unlock/lock at the actual doors - all of them. However, nothing happens. Same thing occurs when using the lock/unlock button from the interior.

I changed the fuse box thinking that was the issue but didn't resolve anything.

I just find it hard to believe that all of my actuators are bad, but that is what I'm leaning towards. Any advice would be appreciated. Is there a simple way to jump and test each actuator?

Thanks

I would pull the door card off one and check the voltage at the connector, not unlikely they are all bad.

Thank you. Will try that tomorrow.

Just installed your inline thermostat today.

Believe it or not, I could totally accept that all actuators are bad. One of my D2s had 3 that were bad when I bought it and I’ve had to do at least one in every D2 I’ve owned.

I’d do some research in the Rave on the system, but you might explore the double locking feature and see if that is somehow getting activated or the like. Be very careful with that and don’t just start trying to get it to activate and such as you can cause more problems than solve with that feature.

I was seeing over 12v at the connector while pressing the lock/unlock button.
The front actuator is removed now, I apply ground to pin 7 and 12v to pin 4 on the actuator it should work, right? I see a lot of other pins, just want to be sure that nothing else would need to be connected.

Thanks!

Yes, and you can reverse that as well, don't remember which is lock vs unlock.
