Are these Chinese knockoffs capable of wireless connectivity like the real one? I guessing not and cant really find anything saying they are or not.

There are Bluetooth versions available for a little more money.

I don't have any experience with the Hawkeye or Novocom, but I can say that for diagnosing, the CDP+ appears to fill the bill. It does not appear to be able to turn on or off things like Daytime Running Lights or reprogram keys or anything like that. I've been looking through the menus and cannot find those features. It does allow turning off the Service Light and Tire Pressure Sensors, and some of those things. On my Wife's VW, it does allow more things to happen, like changing coding on transmission, but I could not find those on the LR DII.

For just reading and clearing codes, I highly recommend it for the money. It handles MOST makes and model cars and trucks, and also Semi Trucks. The list is pretty long.

Soon, I'll be posting an updated Software Installer that will make that job MUCH easier! It will be for the AutoCom 2013.1.1 version due to the fact that it will not need to be activated by a vender. From what I can tell, the difference in the software on version 2013.2.2 is for newer model vehicles, and not the DII, so an upgrade will not be helpful for the DII.

Default Delphi 2013.1.1 Easy Installer and Activation

NOTICE: UPDATED INSTALLER AND INSTRUCTIONS
FOUND HERE: https://landroverforums.com/forum/di...n-video-62986/

This has been removed so that I don't have to support two threads for the same thing. Please use the Above Link.

HTML Code:
For anyone having trouble installing their software, here is my initial fix. I'm working on getting version 2013.2.2 working, but it's not there yet.

Download the following files. Yes, they are LARGE, but that's the only way to get what you need. These are the Delphi Program, not AutoCom. Almost the same program, but the Delphi version has more options, even for the LR2.

Main Installer:
https://mega.co.nz/#!BtwWCCAL!cf4WX3RkXk-MYufD7UbQAkGbdAZnQOqxvR6j4cs1w3k

My Update #1 and Activation Patch:
https://mega.co.nz/#!UxIBHAYB!Ey2skSNq0H9Y-0v4k1ppyygb1S5msNOHXdhoxMV-wCE

The Key Generator only if needed (*See Below):
https://mega.co.nz/#!ZwZR1LwC!FBNubAdf-ymuYpCN9dGaSRWL0EAbHE_t2kOPwfsE-5U

1. Install the first file named: 1 of 2 SuperSport Delphi 2013.1.exe
Select product DS150E (new vci). Use all other defaults as they come up. Do not change the install directory.
[IMG]https://landroverforums.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=18652&stc=1&d=1383250400[/IMG]

2. Install the second file named:
2 of 2 SuperSport Delphi 2013.1.1 Update + Patch.exe
Use all defaults again. Do not change the install directory.

3. Start the program from the DS150E (New VCI) Icon on your desktop. Click the right arrows to get to where it asks for the Serial number and Hardware Key, use the following:

Serial Number: 100251
Hardware Key: OUQFPFEBUHBK

Press "Start" and the program will Automatically Activate and start for the first time. It will tell you there is an updated program, just ignore this. That is the 2013.2 update that's not included here. I've included the 2013.1 Update #1 in this release. Still working on 2013.2 version.

Let me know if you have any trouble using this. *Also, if your CDP+ has a different serial number, use the Key Generator above to get your Hardware Key.

At some point, I'll create an install video showing exactly how to do all this, but I might wait till I get 2013.2 working fully.

*Also, if you want to install Delphi Truck, you can use the Key Generator for that.

NOTE: If you've already tried to install this program, you must first uninstall it and then use this one.

Got mine today. Works as advertised. We'll worth the $99 I paid for it. He'll, it would be worth that for the ABS/SRS code reading/clearing alone. Mine came with Autocom CARS release 1 and Delphi release 2 but I couldn't get release 2 to work just yet. I'll try again tomorrow.

I think the " Delphi 2013.1.1 Easy Installer and Activation" that SuperSport made should have it's own thread.

I thought about that when I posted it. I'll work on getting it done. Might not be today, but I'll come back to it.

Also, I've found the Delphi software version to have more functionality than the AutoCom one, even on the LR2.

Out of curiosity, I have a bluetooth ODBII reader, would this Delphi software on a laptop work so I can just skip the $100 autocom? Currently my bluetooth reader works great with Torque on my tablet.
