Axle oil plug question
I was getting ready to change the oil in my front and rear axles and I was looking at the Rave. It says to use a 13mm Square Drive Wrench. I am assuming that they have them in the UK because I have never heard of one here in the US. I asked at NAPA and got blank stares. I searched online and found one in a socket set from the UK. So what is the deal? Will a 3/8" work? How do you guys pull your axle plugs? Thanks.
Thanks anti. I was able to get them off just fine with my 1/2" drive ratchet (which has a 10" handle). Checked my oil, was not low, and since I was pressed for time I decided to wait until the weekend to swap the gear oil. Thanks for the replies guys.
Made it a lot easier to fill diffs/transfer case
keep the end and just screw on to new qt.
luck,greg
Hey Greg, while I was at Autozone I looked to see if I could find a pump as I had read about one before (possibly you on another thread) but I didn't see one. Everyone was pretty busy and I was in a hurry so I didn't get to ask. Anyway....so where did you get yours?
