bad week in a disco... 97 now with no oil pressure

just looked at the link... i keep reading that you have to replace the pump and cover, but they sell just the gear set. is the gear set enough?

yeah, any time any light comes on, you should pull over right away, and have it towed. but even with full synth, i would change ever 3-4k, 5k is ok... but not best

That depends on why it failed. The oil pump is housed inside the front cover, if the dowel pins in the front cover wore and then threw the oil pump out of wack then you would also need to replace the front cover also.
