Yeah zero mods with any 65 Group I’ve ever used. It’s not touching anything, the threaded post for the battery tie down is the only thing near it.

I'm in a pinch (financially for the moment), and just need a battery to get by until I can afford a better one. NAPA has a BCI No. 34 600 A in-stock and says it's a guaranteed fit, but I prefer to check with y'all first. Would that size work for a 2001 Land Rover Discovery?

Group 34 should fit without much trouble. You might get a better price at Costco if you have a membership.

If you have a rural king nearby, I've started running their group 78 with both top post and side bost ineverything I've got. They've got up a bit,around $70 now, but still wildly affordable compared to most other brands. They've been very reliable for me - manufactured by Exide. I have 5 of them in rotation right now.
