BFG MT's VS. GoodYear DuraTrac?
#31
So it looks like most guys with BFG's are running 265/75 with the 2in or 3in lift. I have talked with/emailed 2 guys that are running the 285/75 and you will have a little rub upon full turn but it can be done. With the stock back set on 16x8 the 285/75's don't look to bad, but I am I wondering if with the custom wheels I am getting if they will stick out too far and look funny.
I am going to start a new thread just to ask if anyone is running the 255/85/16 and see what it would look like on a D2.
Thanks guys-

CDL, lockers, and gearing is planned for next spring. I started a business just about the same time I got this LR and so the plan to have it done has been stretched out a little further than I wanted it to.
After much deliberation I think I am just going to run the 265/75/R16 BFG MT's "like everyone else", as it will be easier on the truck, yield better mileage, and will not take any trimming with a 3in lift and the 4in backset rims. I would like to go with the 285/75 but from what over 50% of people I have talked to said it would be really hard on the truck, horrible gas mileage, and would have to do some real trimming.
Thanks for everything guys.
