Default Black vinyl rejuvenation

Recently, I read a post from a member that stated; ' you can rejuvenate the wheel arches by soaking them in synthetic oil'. Interesting- excuse me whilst I spread vegamite on my crumpets- because Meguiars has a polish that works on faded black plastic. Which one will work the best ??

Not sure which works best, but none of them really last. You'll have to reapply it every few months.

I did the plasti-dip method on mine, but they were too far gone by the time I got the truck. The sun had actually changed the texture of the flares. I ended up removing mine and like the look a lot without them.

I might as well buy new flares. It seems that car wash soaps have oxidizers that cloud clear plastic as well as turn black plastic into grey. So- is there any car wash safe to use on black plastic??
