Default brake bleed issues

way too much air coming from my caliper. even wrapped the threads of the bleeder screw in teflon tape and still a ton of air is coming out. like a insane amount of air. so either my hand pump is not making a good seal on the nipple or the threads are letting too much air past.

any ideas?

i have bled brakes a zillion times, but this is the first time i have encountered something this bad

Is it just with the one caliper?

Quit using that pump and do it the old fashion way. There is no way you can suck in air unless the bleed screw is not closing all the way.

Yeah like the update I made in Spike's brake bleed write-up....I was having the same issue with a DI. But for me, the teflon tape worked and I used this tool. It is great.
