Default Brake Bleed Order

I've always bled brakes RR, RL, FR, FL (just like it's mentioned in https://landroverforums.com/forum/di...stalled-33785/ - which is why I'm doing them again).

However I just noticed in the RAVE (page 70-31) that for LHD Discos, it should go FR, FL, RR, RL.

Which is correct?

Also, since I'm replacing all 6 brake lines, I was planning on one line, one wheel at a time (i.e. remove the FR wheel, replace the FR line, bleed the FR, move on to FL ~ where I would also change the 2 small lines) - is this correct or should I replace all 6 lines and THEN do a bleed?

You are right, but bleed make sure you bleed each caliper until you get clear fluid thru each, in the case of the r/r, it might take 7 or 8 times and plan on 2 quarts of DOT to do it. Make sure to empty the old fluid from the m/c and refill with new before starting.

So do the bleed counter intuitively and I can replace the lines one at a time and bleed following each line?

I'm also using this as an excuse to paint my wheels, so one at a time works great for me if advisable. If I have to replace all brake lines first, I will - but it would be better for my particular situation to do them as I get the wheel off to paint...

You replace all the lines at once then start bleeding.

Is it really that critical to change all the lines first? Due to limitations of my driveway (slight slope), getting the car lifted on 4 jack stands is not something I'm happy about. How about split the difference and front axel first and then rear?

Sure it is cause every time you remove a line you pretty much have to re-bleed the entire system so why not do them all at once, saves time and fluid.
