Default Brakes are locking up

I have an '99 Disco 2 with 150k on it. Yesterday, the brake pedal began getting higher an higher through a 10 mile drive. Eventually the brake pedal was all the way to the top and the brakes were dragging. I had to pull over because the brakes were dragging so bad. They would not release so I was pissed and left it there. Went back this morning and the brakes were fine and as I neared the house it seemed like it was happening again.

Any advice? Thanks a ton.

When was the last time you flushed the brake system? Sounds like maybe a failing master cylinder.

Default never

I've never flushed it out. Is there a repair kit or is the normal operating procedure to just buy a new master cylinder?
