Brakes, then no Brakes

RE: Brakes, then no Brakes
Apparently I forget to reload the master cylindar before I put it on. 30 degree rainy weather would make most forget what they are trying to do. Once I get the advice I need I am going to put the master cylindar on properly. If that doesn't work I found a break booster off a 96 Disco for only 75 bucks. I'll keep you posted.

RE: Brakes, then no Brakes
On Friday we put the brake master cylindar on the proper way and I still have no brakes. I am in the same boat as I was before we changed out that part. I have enough brakes to get me up the street as long as I stop way back. I can still pump the brakes and get more tension, but the pedal still goes to the floor. I am out of ideas other than the booster that someone else mentioned. Does anyone have any other ideas, comments or should I try to change out the booster? I really need some help on this. No car means I can't do my day to day things and I can barely find rides to work. PLEASE HELP!

RE: Brakes, then no Brakes
I bled the brakes before I even started to look for the problem. I got the easiest thing out of the way first. I have since bled them eech time the brake master cylindar was installed. Thanks for the feedback. Any other ideas would be great, or if someone could just tell me I am on the right path. Thanks guys.

RE: Brakes, then no Brakes
Just in case anyone reads this in the future I will sum up what the problem ehded up being. Not knowing alot about cars, I was not aware that there is a rear brake master cylindar. I took my truck to the shop today and once they got it up on the lift they noticed that there was fluid coming out of the rear. They are going to work on it over the next couple of days. If it turns out that there is any other problems I'll post and let you know.
