x2 on being rear-ended -- it actually happened to me. Apparently, non-sensor rear bumpers are in short supply. The body shop told me they were unavailable. I ended up finding one and insisted he pay for it and put it on.

That was it! The very bottom button on the left is a blank/non-op switch. So must be a replacement bumper.

But instead of thinking it was rear-ended, I'll think it was ripped off while xtreme off-roading. Right, I know.....

That's possible. Mine is cracked, along with one of the lights, because D2 have such a big butt.

Mine was backed into and that was enough to crack it up pretty good. The bumpers aren't that strong. I would have gotten a steel one if I didn't get the one I got for $200 locally. I doubt it took it in the rear at 25 mph if you know what I mean! You can probably find decen plugs at your local hardware store, or automotive place.

There is a guy on discoweb, Greg Davis, I think, that is selling steel HD rear bumpers for $525 shipped. They look pretty sharp. No turn signals, so you have to change some stuff up a little.
