A new 180 LR stat will also conceal for awhile the sludged up radiator that no longer has the cooling capacity it once did. More than 10F top to bottom makes one think of all the Dexmud that can be in there. And that blown fuse on the AC condenser fan don't help none either. Also the "great" design of the LR stat lets crud build up in the "sampling" holes in the top, impacting how long it responds to temp.
