Default Cam Bearings for Buick and Rover the same?

So, being that the Buick 215 and the Rover 4.6 block is, or was the same, could a set of cam bearings be two way compatible. A finished set of Buick 215 bearings can be bought for less than $40 where as the Rover bearings are nearly $180. Just spit ballin’ here.

The cam did change when the Bosch brain came along because there was no more need to turn a distributor. Not sure if that changed anything else or not, nor am I sure what the specs are. Sure would be nice to get the cheaper bearings.

Quite a bit of the architecture has changed over the years. Wouldn't surprise me if can bearing sizes/oiling positions have changed
