maybe it’s the wrong o-ring, correct one should be ERR4815. Might also be some build up in there keeping it from fully seating.
cost is less than $2.00 ($4.00 at the dealer)

Good thoughts, but yeah, it’s the correct o-ring and I cleaned the front cover to near surgical cleanliness before reinstalling. I took it out and reset it, still a little off, but not as bad. Left it that way. It’s no biggie to take it out again once it’s in the car to readjust if needed.
