Default Car shuts off

I have 1999 land rover discovery, The car was running fine then all of a sudden It wouldn'tstart it would start after like 20 minutes then after a few blocks it would shut down again, It made no sttuter sound or gave any indication of it shutting down, I think it is the spak plug wires because some of thewire were torn others said it was the fuel pump what do you think ? please help.

How many miles on her? If you have torn wires then you need to start there regardless. When was the last time you did a wire and plug job? Do that first, then we'll take it from there. It definitly sounds electrical if it just immediatly shuts off.

It is not stopping because of the spark plugs, you have some problems, send me your tele number and I'll call you.

I experienced that episode... and it's very frustrating my friend..even the so-called techs couldn't figure it out...It's electrical..!!! ..could be a no. diff. things... but when you say it's runnning fine and it just shuts down..?? then the same thing happened to me....til it started after several tries... (I thought this is going to be an expensive fix.).??..I was afraid to let the wife drive it..!! what fixed it for me was..I took the Battery cables and wire brushed the battery posts and the cables and made sure it was clean..and hooked it back up..!!!! NO MORE PROBLEMS...!!!.. try that and let us know..??
